6dFGS Catalogues
Data Central includes the latest version of all the 6dFGS catalogues. You can browse the schema of these catalogues via the schema browser. Note that the groupings are a Data Central addition, which will hopefully make it easier to find the relevant tables.
Data Central has also created an additional catalogue, dc_source_list, which contains all the sources. The information in this table was derived from the TARGET and SPECTRA catalogues. Its purpose is to act as a complete source catalogue for 6dFGS for the purposes of the Data Central Single Object Viewer—the limited information (only RA/Dec) does not make it suitable for any other purpose.
