Getting to AAO Macquarie
AAO Macquarie is located at 105 Delhi Road, North Ryde. There are around 30 free parking spaces available for visitors onsite.
Metro
You can reach AAO Macquarie using the Sydney Metro. From Chatswood: take the Metro in the Tallawong direction and get off at North Ryde (first stop). When you exit the station, turn right and walk down Delhi Road. The AAO's building is the last building on the right-hand side. From Macquarie University or Macquarie Park: take the Metro in the Chatswood direction and get of at North Ryde.
Bus
You can catch the 259 bus, which runs between Chatswood and Macquarie Centre, via Macquarie University and Macquarie Park. From Chatswood: Take the bus from the south side of the station, Stand G. The trip takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the first stop after the Northern Suburbs Crematorium (which appears on the left going up the hill from the river crossing). The bus stop is outside the AAO's building. From Macquarie University: You can get on the bus at Macquarie Centre Stand B (across the road from the University); get off at the last stop before Lane Cove National Park on Delhi Road. The AAO's building is across the road, the last on the right side of Delhi Road before the national park.
Getting to Chatswood
Unless, you have a car, you will need to catch the train to Chatswood. Take the T1 or T9 lines to Chatswood and then follow the Metro or Bus directions above. Both lines go via Sydney Central station.
Coming from Sydney Airport
Train
From either the Domestic or International terminals, take the T8 line to Central station and change for either the T1 or T9 lines as described above. There is a map of the Sydney Trains network here.
