We are happy to announce the release of Data Central 2.0!

This release involves a major overhaul of how data is ingested and managed within the backend system. This makes the science platform more maintainable, scalable and extensible. So while users may not notice obvious changes on the surface, there should be a performance improvement for many services.

This work is the first part of a larger program to enable new services to be built on top of Data Central.
