Querying the AAT Archive
The AAT Archive service provides a convenient access portal to the AAT Archive database, back to early operations in 1997. Search by sky position (use the name resolver to the right of the main form to look up your favourite source's RA & Dec), ProgramID, or date.
Remember: an 18 month proprietary period is in force. Data less than 18 months old can only be distributed to a member of the observing team. If user is a member of the observing team, user now can download proprietary data if on the proposal in new version of AAT Archive.
If you have submitted a query with very unrestrictive filters (e.g., a > 1 year date range for 2dF + AAOmega observations), your query may take up to 3 minutes as Data Central cross-references the fibre log table. Please do not leave the page during that time.
Query Logbook?
If you would like to query one day data, use log book and submit the date
Querying 2dF-Hermes data: Identifying the camera (B, G, R or IR)
The query results may be filtered to identify the camera corresponding to each observation.
The query results column of detector may be used as a proxy for the camera with values of E2V5-B (B), E2V6-G (G), E2V7-R (R), and E2V8-IR (IR).
The following image shows the selection of IR data. To filter on R data the filter could be set to "-R".
